This introductory class is in two parts: Language and Harmony:

Part I: Learn how to READ and WRITE MUSIC. It’s never too late! This course will cover the basics starting with learning the notes on the staff, measures and note values, time signatures, key signatures, and chord and repeat symbols.

Part II: Discover the beauty and magic of HARMONY, including what intervals are, major and minor scale construction, chord construction, harmonized major and minor scales, numeric chord progressions, cycle of 5ths and song analysis.
