Introduction to Music Theory
Gain a deeper understanding of the foundations of music with Introduction to Music Theory!
This 8-week course will cover harmonic and rhythmic theory. Classes will combine discussion, practical exercises, and in-class activities to help students connect concepts to real musical experience.
​​​The ability to read at least one clef and sing/play an instrument is required; no other theory experience is necessary.

Meet Kami Aiello
Kami Aiello has been teaching violin for many years, spanning ages 6-18. While earning a Bachelor of Arts in music at Spring Arbor University, Kami taught private students, worked at MASTA Strings Camp, and assisted in middle and high school orchestra classes at Marshall Public Schools. In addition to violin, Kami has tutored music theory and currently works as a special education paraprofessional.
