The TMV Emerging Voices Songwriters Cooperative is an eight-session, bi-weekly class for adults interested in beginning songwriting. Sessions run ninety minutes and focus on group-based lyric creation in a supportive, confidential setting. The class is open to all musical backgrounds, including those with no prior songwriting experience.

▌ Discover your voice in a supportive songwriting community

An eight-session bi-weekly experience designed for new songwriters who want to explore music as a pathway to introspection and personal development. No experience required — only curiosity and openness.

▌ A journey inward through music

Participants craft lyrics together through guided prompts and group-based writing. You will explore creative impulses, emotional themes, and new ways to express your inner world. Between meetings, you may develop personal song versions if you choose.

▌ Who is welcome

Adults 18 plus. Beginners and first-time songwriters. Singers and instrumentalists of all kinds. Anyone interested in reflective, supportive creativity. No music theory required.

Encourages deep self-exploration through shared lyric writing. Builds community and emotional connection. Supports expression in a welcoming space. Blends creativity with mindful reflection.

Eight sessions. Ninety minutes each. Meets every other week. Pricing follows The Music Village structure.

Jeremy Linton is a TMV guitar instructor and licensed mental health counselor with extensive experience guiding groups focused on reflection and personal growth.
